The Deye SUN-BK250-2.56KWH-EU-AM4 is a compact all-in-one micro hybrid energy storage system that combines a 2.5kW hybrid inverter, 2.56kWh LiFePO₄ battery, and intelligent energy management into a single plug-and-play solution. Designed for balcony solar systems, apartments, homes, and small off-grid applications, it offers an easy way to increase solar self-consumption, reduce electricity costs, and provide reliable backup power.
Powered by a 2.56kWh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery, the system delivers exceptional safety, long cycle life, and reliable daily energy storage. The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) continuously monitors battery performance and automatically optimizes charging based on battery conditions, ensuring maximum efficiency and long-term reliability.
The SUN-BK250 features four independent MPPT trackers, allowing up to 5.76kW PV input and supporting multiple solar panel orientations for maximum energy harvest. With up to 2.5kW AC output, it is perfectly suited for powering everyday household appliances while seamlessly switching between grid, battery, and solar power.
Designed for maximum flexibility, the system supports grid-tied, off-grid, and AC-coupled operation, with an ultra-fast 4ms transfer time for uninterrupted backup power during grid failures. Multiple units can also be connected in parallel, allowing system expansion as energy demands grow.
Its compact IP65-rated enclosure enables both indoor and outdoor installation, while built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LoRa communication provide real-time monitoring and remote system management through Deye’s smart energy platform.

Deye AI-W16 All-in-One Energy Storage: Inverter and Battery in One System
The Deye AI-W16 is a modular, stackable home energy storage system. The hybrid inverter and the 16 kWh LiFePO4 battery form a single, compact unit, enabling fast installation and easy future expansion. Available in single-phase and three-phase versions, from 3.6 kW to 20 kW.
Why choose the AI-W16?
- 16 kWh in one module. Delivers twice the capacity per module compared to conventional 8 kWh stackable systems, and according to Deye, around 20% lower system cost at the same capacity.
- Expandable up to 96 kWh. Up to 6 batteries can be connected in parallel, with up to 3 inverters for power scaling (max. 60 kW in three-phase systems, max. 36 kW in single-phase systems). The modular expansion base minimizes cabling.
- Suitable for outdoor installation. IP66 protection allows outdoor placement, saving indoor space.
- Heated version for cold winters. The AI-W16-H battery features built-in heating for charging down to -20 °C, while the standard version charges from 1 °C. Both versions can discharge down to -20 °C.
- Long service life. At least 8,000 cycles, 50 MWh energy throughput, and a 10-year battery warranty (subject to the terms of Deye’s warranty certificate).
- Reliable uninterruptible power supply. Switches seamlessly to off-grid mode during power outages, delivering up to twice the rated power for 10 seconds to support high-surge appliances at startup.
- 200% PV oversizing. The solar array can be sized up to twice the inverter’s power rating.
- Low standby consumption. The DC-DC converter-free battery design keeps self-consumption negligible at night.
- Smart energy management without internet. With the LoRa-based wireless system (Wireless CT, Smart Plug, Smart Switch, Smart EV Charger), feed-in limiting and load control work even without an internet connection.
- Cost optimization. With 6 adjustable time windows, the system charges during low-cost periods and supplies loads during peak hours. The Deye Cloud app also supports dynamic tariffs, and the AI-powered Deye Copilot helps with scheduling.
Who is it recommended for?
For homes where fast installation, future-expandable capacity, and reliable backup power matter. A single 16 kWh module supplies the most essential loads, while multiple modules can power the entire house, a heat pump, or an electric vehicle charger during power outages.
